I first bought these clippers during Crazy when everything shut down and my groomer wasn’t open. I was hesitant at first because they were so inexpensive, but I decided to take a chance because of the positive reviews. I have saved SO MUCH MONEY grooming my dogs myself! I have two pups and, on average, which I liked to get done once a month. Needless to say, I’m very happy that I can do it myself now. My dogs also no longer get stressed out being left at the groomer. These are very quiet and do not harm their skin. It took awhile to figure out how to give them a cut that looked professional, but I finally got it after a few tries. One of my dogs is VERY nervous, but she does very well with these because they’re so quiet. My other dog has very soft and fluffy fur so I wondered if these would handle that without pulling, and they did. I just bought another pair after two years. With the cost being about half of one grooming session, they are totally worth it. I also like that scissors and a metal comb are included. I use the metal comb to shiel their skin from the scissors because they are very sharp. It works great for cutting out or combing out occasional matted fur. Doggy spa days are now much calmer and satisfying because they end up with the cut I want because I do it myself, and they get to stay home.
